Ski Instructor Training


The Rookie Academy EU offers skills based training towards a variety of snowsports instructor systems. Our courses will help you achieve any standard of certification.

Level 1 and 2 certifications are achievable in one season and are included in our 10 week course (*this product will be running from the 2022-2023 season). If you would like to develop your skiing towards the Level 1 and 2 standard, you can still do so within our Rookie Camps.

Level 3 & Level 4/Trainers certification require commitment, passion for skiing & teaching and time! We offer season long training options and 3 week training blocks.

All of our Ski Instructor Training options are run 5 days a week (Sunday - Monday - Tuesday and Thursday - Friday ) and training 5hrs a day. This on-snow training is backed up with off snow clinics and technical analysis sessions.

What to expect in your instructor training course?

An INSPIRATIONAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT is the name of the game - our trainers are the best in the business at keeping things Safe, Fun and getting you to Achieve your goals.

We focus on SKILLS BASED TRAINING as the foundation of our on snow practice. Building the core fundamentals of skiing and teaching through specific drills, tactical advice, varied terrain experience and lesson planning, we will have you achieving your instructor certification goals.

The social aspect plays an important role in you getting the most out of your course, hanging out with passionate like-minded people just adds to the experience. Even when the course is over you will be part of the ROOKIE NETWORK for life and the connections you make on the course will stay with you for ever.

The Via Lattea offers long uncrowded slopes and legendary off-piste terrain so you will clock up plenty of MILEAGE and lots of vertical meters helping you to reinforce the changes you make each day.

We train 5 days a week (Sunday - Monday - Tuesday and Thursday - Friday ) TRAINING 5 HOURS A DAY. Each training day consists of a 3 hour session in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. This on-snow training is backed up with off snow clinics and technical analysis sessions.
